EXTRACT FROM WHITE MULBERRY (MORUS ALBA L.) FRUIT BY ULTRASOUND
METHOD AND DETERMINATION OF ITS COMPONENT COMPOSITION
Resume: The main feature of the pharmaceutical market of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a very high import
dependence. In the structure of the pharmaceutical market, only about 13-15% of medicines included in the
Register of the Republic of Kazakhstan are produced by domestic manufacturers, which proves that almost
85-87% of our country’s pharmaceutical products are imported. Therefore, providing the domestic market
of the pharmaceutical industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan with domestic drugs is one of the important
issues. The optimal solution to this problem is the creation of drugs based on new plant materials. Today,
plants are one of the most important sources of medicines used in various fields of medical practice. There
are many types of plant raw materials in the Republic of Kazakhstan that have not been fully studied. In this
regard, the most promising direction for the formation of the domestic pharmaceutical industry in modern
conditions is the rapid development of phytochemical production. Substances and preparations prepared
based on domestic medicinal plant materials are much cheaper than imported preparations, which ensures
their availability for a significant part of the population. One of these plants is white mulberry (Morus Alba L.) –
medicinal plant material.
The article describes the technological parameters of the extraction of white mulberry fruits (Morus Alba L.)
by a modern ultrasonic method, the component and elemental compositions of the obtained extract are
determined. Currently, in the pharmaceutical market, phytopreparations made from medicinal plant materials
are widely used for the treatment and prevention of aura in the human body. Therefore, the extraction of
biologically active substances (BAS) from medicinal plant materials is an actual task.
