everywhere. At the same time, high-quality performance of duties assigned by regulatory acts defining the work of a clinical pharmacologist is required. Considering that the analytical section of the work of a clinical pharmacologist is the most work- and time-consuming, it is proposed to use the medical information system of a medical organization to optimize working hours.

Objective: To show the role of a medical information system in performing the analytical tasks
of a clinical pharmacologist in an inpatient medical organization Materials and Methods: The analysis of the regulatory documentation defining the work of a clinical pharmacologist is carried out. A section of analytical work functions is highlighted, which were 21 introduced into the medical information system using various reference books and algorithms. With the help of IT specialists, a part of the performed labor functions of a clinical pharmacologist has been
automated.

Results: The main sections of the work of a clinical pharmacologist have been introduced into
the medical information system, such as the drug circulation in a medical organization, conducting
pharmaco-economic and pharmaco-epidemiological analyses, and microbiological monitoring.

Conclusion: Optimizing the working time of a clinical pharmacologist by immersing analytical
work functions in the medical information system allows you to free up more time for direct work
with patients and doctors on the use of medicines. The availability of analytical reports allows you to make timely management decisions.
